Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), is a language used to describe the semantic content of web pages. This block allows you to insert your code so you can fine-tune your content.
Adding block
To add a HTML snippet, click on the ⊕
Block Inserter icon and select the “Custom HTML” block.
Alternatively, you can start typing /html
in a new paragraph block, then press enter.
Editing block
Once you insert a custom HTML block, you can add your code and view it right from the block options toolbar. Also, you will have all the standard block options as well.
Although most blocks come with unique and block-specific controls, the custom HTML block is pretty straightforward, and only has the “More Options” control available to config.
Sidebar settings
Clicking on the ⚙ cog icon next to the publish button will toggle the visibility of this panel.
While most blocks have specific options in the editor sidebar in addition to the options found in the block toolbar, the custom HTML block does not have extra options to alter.
